Science of the Magi
Magick in the simplest definition is the manipulation of energy. Consciousness is a form of energy. Matter is a form of energy. Everything is a form of energy. To manipulate any of these is magick. Whether used for service of self or others is up to the user.
So if you are to manipulate consciousness, your own or others, you are performing magick. Take the example of the stage magician/illusionist who uses sleight of hand and distraction, they manipulate your senses in a way that a paranormal illusion appears to have taken place. Since this is done for entertainment we understand it is a simple manipulation and can find amusement in it, however what if we are not aware manipulation is taking place? What if instead being a manipulation of conscious senses it is a manipulation of our subconscious or both? Would you even realize the manipulation? With this definition of magick being the manipulation of energy/consciousness, you will realize the most powerful magicians are artists, musicians, writers, media/news/TV/movie executives, religious leaders, judges, politicians and attorneys. They shape the world around you with their words, images and the emotions/thoughts that are conveyed. To cast a spell is the same to spell a word.
Other observable forms of magick are hypnosis and mesmerism. The wiki definition of hypnotism is “a human condition involving focused attention, reduced peripheral awareness, and an enhanced capacity to respond to suggestion ... Hypnosis usually begins with a hypnotic induction involving a series of preliminary instructions and suggestion.” There are many ways to do hypnotic induction, typically by having a person fix their eyes on a bright object, fixing their concentration, where they get into a mind-set allowing them to access the sub-conscious or parts of their conscious they are usually unaware of. This can be supplemented with monotonous sound, binaural beats for example. If this sounds similar to meditation and contemplation techniques it is because it is. Mediation and contemplation are forms of magick and some methods even use self-hypnotism. After manipulating the consciousness with hypnotic induction methods, the goal of hypnotism is to give suggestions that will bypass the conscious and go directly to the sub-conscious. This is termed auto-suggestion and can be done by another person (usually a hypnotist) or done to yourself through self-hypnosis; it can be perceived as changing or re-programming the mind/brain and altering subconscious patterns with hidden commands. You can resolve past traumas, discover repressions, and heal addictions along with other mental or emotional baggage. When used for therapeutic reasons it is called Hypnotherapy. Another form is stage hypnosis, used in shows and for entertainment and many videos can be seen on Youtube.
There is a third use of hypnotism, besides self, therapeutic and stage, will be further discussed in the Masters of Manipulation chapter. But consider how when you watch a stage hypnotist perform, he gets people to do all sorts of absurd things just for entertainment. If you ever talk to a person that has been a volunteer in a hypnotist’s show they will tell you they don’t remember doing anything, at least from people I have talked to. Now imagine taking someone well educated in hypnotism/mesmerism with little to no empathy, legal/civil immunity, all sorts of hallucinogens at their disposal, and mass funding behind them; except they are using hypnotism and mesmerism for personal power, knowledge, self-serving interests, money and control. MKULTRA and MKOFTEN are programs that would seem to fit that description. These are debased forms of hypnotism, and though many believe this is to turn people into Manchurian candidates, or extremists/zealots- it is actually used against most of the population in subtler forms.
Can TVs, cell phones, tablets, and computers be used as a bright object for hypnotic induction?
Mesmerism is viewed differently from hypnotism for the following reason: “At the outset hypnosis relies on sound and words to induce a state of trance, whilst Mesmerism uses very few words and can automatically promote a state of trance. The Mesmeric trance state is different from the trance state that results from verbally induced hypnosis... Mesmerism is helpful for Psycho Somatic conditions, whereas verbal hypnosis seems more effective for habits and behavioral changes.” Mesmerism is from Franz Friedrich Anton Mesmer’s theory on Animal magnetism, which is “an invisible natural force (Lebensmagnetismus) possessed by all living things, including humans, animals, and vegetables. He believed that the force could have physical effects, including healing.” So basically it is a manipulation of the life-force described at the end of Chapter 7.
It is important to note that people usually have to be in a susceptible, willing state for these methods to work. If you ask someone to hypnotize or use mesmerism on you and you have no desire to partake and think it is bs then it will most likely not do anything. The same goes with just about every other magick out there. There is plenty written on the subjects of mesmerism and hypnotism if one is interested in techniques and more information.
If Magick is the manipulation of energy then technology and chemistry (alchemy) would fall under that definition as well. Maybe this is why some of the magicians that manipulate consciousness (invisible energy) wear black robes like Judges and Priests and why other magicians that manipulate matter (visible energy) wear white robes, like the Doctors and Scientists.
Other definitions of magick:
“the Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will, including both "mundane" acts of will as well as ritual magic. The art of changing consciousness at will. True magick is neither illusion nor make believe, but an extension of imagination, emotion, and will used for the art of transformation (whether material or spiritual).”
“May it not be that Consciousness, Magic, and Chaos are the same thing? Consciousness is able to make things happen spontaneously without prior cause. This usually happens within the brain, where that part of consciousness we designate “Will” tickles the nerves to make certain thoughts and actions occur. Occasionally consciousness is able to make things happen spontaneously outside the body when it performs magic. Any act of will is magic. Conversely any act of conscious perception is also magic; an occurrence in nervous matter is spontaneously perceived in consciousness. Sometimes that perception can occur directly without the use of the senses, as in clairvoyance. Magic is not just confined to consciousness. All events, including the origin of the universe, happen basically by magic….”- Liber null & Psychonaut Peter James
Another interpretation
“If you want to something to change, your intent, words and actions need to be in alignment. This is called coherence of being.”
Thought-forms
If everything is consciousness and all is mind, and thoughts are the product of consciousness/mind, then controlling your thoughts would be very powerful. Willing your thoughts and energy toward a cause, goal or desire would undoubtedly give a better opportunity to succeed. If these same thoughts were shared by a group or of people the power would grow exponentially. The thoughts could grow into forces unto themselves becoming:
Arcetypes, Eggregores, Memes, Engrams, Theocratic Bands
Archetypes- A concept introduced by Carl Jung, Archetypes can be viewed as the collective definition or qualities of a word, they represent universal patterns and images that are part of the collective unconscious. For instance the mother archetype could be nurturing, caring and protective. The father archetype could be protective, strict, ordering, loving etc. There are countless variations however, that form the collective, because everyone has a different perspective and experience giving a different meaning to every individual word/concept. To elaborate, the father archetype “takes the form of God, any god, giant, tyrant, king, judge, doctor, executioner, devil, leader, holy man, boss, wise old man, and of course, father. As with any archetype, both light and dark aspects exist.” Jung said Archetypes lie in the collective unconscious are innate, universal, hereditary, unlearned and function to organize how we experience certain things. “Jung believed that archetypes were models of people, behaviors, or personalities. Archetypes, he suggested, were inborn tendencies that play a role in influencing human behavior. Archetypes played a role in personality, but felt that most people were dominated by one specific archetype. The actual way in which an archetype is expressed or realized depends upon a number of factors including an individual's cultural influences and unique personal experiences.” Jung writes there are four major archetypes, but there is no limit to how many actually exist. The four major Archetypes being: the persona, shadow, anima/animus, the self. There is plenty written on this subject and should be further studied by anyone trying to understand how consciousness works.
Archetypes are neutral and we choose what/how we make them. The way these can be and are used magically is when people manipulate/engineer Archetypes into Stereotypes. For instance the Jersey Shore Guido Archetype of toxic masculinity- concerned with spray tans, gelled hair, partying and materialistic nihilism. This became a stereotype once many people embraced this look/attitude due to the TV show, propaganda and publicity for it. When magicians turn engineered archetypes into stereotypes people are easy to controlled and predictable and those living the stereotype are not concerned about the true-self (usually) only about their persona and ego. This will be further discussed in the Masters of Manipulation chapter Turning Archetypes into Stereotypes section.
www.verywellmind.com/what-are-jungs-4-major-archetypes
“Just as there are personal memories and Archetypes, there are more dangerous memories and collective forces. These are known as Engrams, Eggregores and Memes.”
Engrams- “It literally means memory trace, but is used in a more specific manner. When an individual experiences great pain, suffering or distress, memories of the event are not recorded in a normal fashion; they become locked with the associated emotions and are stored as Engrams. These Engrams are aberrative in nature and irrational in content, they record all related facets of the experience (sound, colour, touch, smell and so on) and lock them together. As more and more Engrams are formed they link together to form chains and begin to cloud the conscious or rational mind. This is why Gurdjieff said that we all live in the past, in any one individual there are thousands of personal Engrams clouding and overpowering the rational mind.”- Gnostic Theurgy
Egregore- “is a collective group mind, it is a form that has been created by the thoughts of a group of people with similar beliefs over a period of time. As time passes, the energy of that belief takes on a certain “life of its own” and becomes what is known as an ‘Eggregore’. Eggregores are, by rights, not necessarily Engramic. There are also positive Eggregores of organizations, groups and associations. However, since man is by nature a fallen creature, Eggregores tend to end up out of control and become unwieldy, forming little vortexes of energy in the collective unconscious and by correspondence, on the astral worlds.” - Gnostic Theurgy
Memes- “Memes are the collective unconscious equivalent to genes. As man has become physically more complex, the Archons needed a strategy to control and manipulate thought. This strategy began in the lower reaches of the collective unconscious. As Eggregores began to take hold of an increasing amount of human thought, the Archons worked to create Eggregores of special power, special destructive value. These specialized mind-traps we can call Memes. They reproduce through human consciousness at lightning speed and move from mind to mind, they masquerade as theories, concepts and philosophical systems that bring people together into mindless conglomerates. These conglomerates, group minds or Eggregores are then easily manipulated.” - Gnostic Theurgy
In the modern age of online memes, many people still don’t realize the actual power of them. This why meme magick was being used in the 2018 election and memes are now one of the most prevalent used tool for jokes, internet arguments and sharing of information.
Theocratic-bands- The dictionary definition of Theocrat is “person who rules, governs as a representative of God or a deity, or is a member of the ruling group in a theocracy, as a divine king or a high priest. a person who favors theocracy.” The theocratic-band thought-form theory takes this one step further, and was first and only mentioned, from what I have researched, in the book “War in Heaven” by Kyle Griffith . Theocrats are disincarnated beings that trick people into worshiping them and have their worshippers take part in self-destructive, violent behaviors for their own desire and power. “The spiritual beings worshiped as gods by many religious groups are impostors. They are nothing more than the disembodied spirits of human beings who refuse to reincarnate. They remain on the astral plane, where they exercise power over other spirits and over living people. We call them "Theocrats," a name also used to describe the ancient Egyptian Pharaohs and other earthly rulers who justified their demand for absolute political power by posing as divine beings. The concept that gods are impostors is the first postulate of a theory that provides explicit answers for almost any question about the nature of spiritual reality. Part of this theory is scientific. It explains what the soul is made of and how it functions. It also explains how the body, mind, and soul are inter-related and how psychic powers operate. The rest of the theory is political. It describes the political organization of spirits on the astral plane, and the relationships that different factions of disembodied spirits have with living people.” The way this works for instance is when you put yourself in close proximity to large amounts of people such as at “sporting events, in gambling casinos, at political rallies, during musical concerts, large parties/festivals, of many types in a number of other places. Whenever many people enter an intense emotional state at the same time and have their collective attention focused on a common objective, Theocratic spirits can use subconscious telepathic manipulation to put them into a religious trance and reprogram their minds with religious mind control.” Could this explain in part, how cults work and people become religious zealots/extremists, seeming to have gone under some type hypnotic brainwashing? You can easily observe how sports make people fanatics, which is where the word fan comes from.
Thought-forms are only as powerful as we make them. When you put yourself in a situation where you are surrounded by many people, be very aware of the collective thought-form power you are putting yourself in contact with. Do not get agoraphobia, just be aware, and like always think for yourself, question everything, expand your perception, live with love, have strong will and be hard to influence.
Word of Caution
Caution: using magick, especially with non-human intelligences can come at a cost and some types require a sacrifice.
There is small line between being crazy, schizo or whatever else they want to label it, and being physic, clairvoyant, or possessing other types of gifts. Many people have a hard time controlling the conscious/energy streams and this can lead to addiction and seemingly mental illness. Practicing certain types of magick can increase these conscious/energy streams, creating opportunities for any cracks, repressions, trauma in the psyche to manifest and create mental disturbances.
““...the neurotic is very often psychic, and the psychic is very often neurotic.” ― Dion Fortune, Psychic Self-Defense
A cautionary quote from Anonymous practitioner of magick:
“I am, as a person, deeply conditioned in all my thinking and perceiving by a lifetime spent practicing magick, serious magick, not new age wishy-washy white light bullshit. I began studying Kabballah at 16, when there were few books, at least in our country. Next I received the first six initiations in the O.T.O. where I practiced Enochian magick. This is the most potent magick out there, apart from Obeah and certain forms of negative Voodun. These experiences are guaranteed to change everyone. Being initially hypersensitive I became pathologically so. What to some people is intuition, is common occurrence to me, same with various projections and states. This is not bragging, in fact, these things can almost be a burden, in a sense, and I must put effort into it remaining always with my feet standing firmly on the Earth – to the extent of my abilities.
Fortunately, I don’t drink anymore alcohol. When I did, it was even worse – in terms of subjective experiences bordering on pain and madness. I did land in a mental institution once, but after realizing that they can’t do anything for me I left. Most of my former friends have had similar experiences. In fact, every magician I know, at least the ones that are worthy of their salt, has been at least once in a loony bin, most of them have lifelong addictions. I am still on Methadone myself, although I am – finally – beginning to contain and erase this serpentine addiction.
Sure, there are magicians that are able to do strong magick and keep a job, a family etc. But they only live in books, not in the real world. Sure, there are always exceptions, but they are very, very, few. One can ask, does it pay, then, to immerse oneself in magick? No, it does not. But if you want to be able to manipulate energy and be a political force, even if just in a local sense, then you have no other option but to go through the ‘required’ experiences. I was always obsessed with manipulating political forces, esp. with bringing revenge on the Vatican. But these things come at a price. A heavy price. Unless one is working in a group, but even then the price of inertia is always exacted by the universe.”
Another interpretation of negative effects of magick, especially with invoking, summoning or working with any type of other intelligence can be possession or being doppelgangered. Twin Peaks/Stranger Things (both season 3) does a good job depicting this. Briefly, this type of possession is not like what you see in the Exorcist movie, at least for the most part and for the ones that you need to worry about. The possessing beings are cold, calculated, cunning, charming, intelligent, completely psychopathic and have one goal/desire-to create as much suffering as possible in as many people in order to feed off the energy it creates (loosh/ garmonbozia). They look like normal people and fit in society without notice. Could these beings have infiltrated the most powerful positions in today’s world?
Uses/outcomes
Magick can be used to create talismans, amulets or tinctures. Can be learned how to perform magical spells, charms and divination. Can influence self/others, attract opportunities to yourself, explore parts of your own, others or collective consciousness, manipulate life force/magnetism. You can be educated how to summon, invoke, banish, and exorcise spirits, gods, demons, angles, other intelligence's. You can also make deals with these intelligence's but you could possibly become their slaves/ get possessed by them.
When a magician summoned an intelligence he asked, "Are you figment of my imagination?” The intelligence replied, “It would be more accurate to say that you are a figment of mine.”
Some Possible outcomes/goals of magick that can be further studied are:
Control of emotions and thoughts, understanding of self and others, Gnosis, ability to get answers, Critical Thinking, Psychometry, Clairvoyance, Strong Intuition, Remote viewing, Astral Projection, Psychokinesis, Prophecy, Precognition, Syncro-mysticism, Telepathy, Pyrokinesis, Extra-sensory Perception, Increased Will, Increased Magnetism, Mentalism, Mind Control (Your own and possibly others),Mediumship, Law of Attraction, Memory Feats, Deduction, Rapid Mathematics, Healing, Reikei Healing, summoning/invoking/ banishing/exorcising other intelligences, channeling, automatic writing, dimensional/time travel
Types of Magick
“Within a spirit model, the job of a shaman is to communicate their intentions to their spirit helpers, who then work magic on their behalf.
Within an energy model, a magician might direct their own qi/ch’i towards specific aims.
Within a psychological model, a magician uses symbols to condition their unconscious to work towards their goals.
Within an information model, a magician transmits information to an underlying matrix or field in order to produce specific effects.”
Here are some of the more popular forms of magical practices (not as dangerous) then a list all of the magical practices that I have heard of.
Divination
To divine the future…“is the attempt to gain insight into a question or situation by way of an occultic, standardized process or ritual.”
Of course you must have willful intention and belief for them to have any chance of working. Some would say divination is just a tool to get your mind get to a state of consciousness where you (or the divinator) have more access to the collective consciousness/all-mind and places beyond time and space. They show a reflection or partial reflection in the pool of probabilities and connect personal and collective synchronicities. “The tarot is a reflection; your destiny is not set.”
The number of divination methods is unlimited, as anything can have meaning. Some popular forms of divination are:
Tarot Cards, The Celtic Ogham, Astrology, Horoscopes, Enneagrams, The Norse Runes, Reading Tea Leaves, Pendulum Divination, Osteomancy (Reading the Bones),Lithomancy: Divination with Stones, Full Moon Water Scrying*, Scrying with obsidian*, numerology, geomancy, Kabbalah, hydromancy, aeromancy, pyromancy, chiromancy (palmistry), spatulamancy (scapulimancy), Dowsing, I-ching, Feng shui, Ilmu Tajul, Automatic Writing, nggàm, and much much more. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methods_of_divination
*Scrying can be used to enter trance state as well
Some types of numerology: Germatria, Notarikon, Tenach,Temurah- Atbash, Avgad, Albam
Sigil
'Signs and symbols rule the world, not words nor laws’
“Coca-Cola is a sigil. The McDonalds “M” is a sigil. These people are basically turning the world into themselves, using sigils. And if we don’t reverse that process, and turn the world into *us* using sigils, we’re going to be living in fucking McDonalds.”- Grant Morrison
All corporate logos, religious symbols, and military regalia are sigils.
Sigils power lies in their ability to bypass many conscious filters and enter the sub-conscious. Like they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Sigils are another type of thought-form (everything is though) and can vary between Arcetypes, Eggregores, Memes, or Engrams depending on how they are perceived and by the amount of people that view them.
Sigils are a symbolic representation of willful intention resulting in a beneficial outcome. They can also be used evoke entities, such as from the Seals of Solomon. Another interpretation is controlling forces in the unconscious psyche of the practitioner. Kind of like a form of self-hypnosis using symbols. You can use sigils that have already been made or better yet make your own.
Create a sign or an image that represents your desire and carries its essence. Make the desire realistic and something you have ability to tangibly work toward. Follow your intuition; there is no right or wrong way. One method is write the words of what you desire, take out the vowels and repeating letters, and then create it into some type of symbol or icon. Such as:
Or try to clear your mind and do automatic drawing of an image or symbol that represents your will.
Next step is to charge/release the sigil this can be done by many methods such as contemplation, meditation, trance, sex, entering gnosis and then putting it into the collective.
Again if you want something to occur: “…your intent, words and actions need to be in alignment. This is called coherence of being.” Sigils will not help if that is the only thing you do with no other tangible effort. For instance you will not get the job you want by just making sigils, you need to apply, prepare for the interview, etc.
Ritual/Ceremonial/Theurgy
This is where a group of people get together and focus their thoughts/intentions toward a common goal. If you want to see what ritual/ceremonial magick looks like go to any church service, especially a Catholic one with communion. It seems absurd to have people dress in costumes, robes, etc. but that is the point. It manipulates the use of archetypes that go beyond regular consciousness, “The assumption of ritual dress and paraphernalia serves to mark the transition from ordinary activity to something of importance. A uniform has a further function — that of depersonalization. It helps to reduce the importance of individual personality factors and allows the wearers to relate to each other as functionaries of some principle beyond personal considerations.” –Psychonaut
There are many different forms Rituals/Theurgy for many different reasons, this and can be church services, séances, masses, eyes wide shut orgies etc.
There are plenty of rituals and ceremonies from various groups and cultures available for study. You can always make your own as well.
Alchemy
“The Secret of Alchemy is this: There is a Way of Manipulating Matter and Energy So as to Produce what Modern Scientists Call 'a Field of Force'. This Field Acts On the Observer and Puts Him in a Privileged Position Vis-a-Vis the Universe. From this Position, He has an Access to the Realities which are Ordinarily Hidden from Us by Time and Space, Matter and Energy. This is what We Call "The Great Work".”~ Fulcanell
It is usually considered the manipulation of material matter. It is how chemistry began, and chemistry is a modern, more refined, form of alchemy. The goal of alchemy is to transmute objects. The profane and materialistic perspective of this is transmuting lead into gold in the literal sense. To the initiate this is actually an internal transmutation of the base desires into higher forms of thought. “Alchemy is not only about the transmutation of metals, but the shift in consciousness that returns us from the physical to the non-physical. Reality is about the evolution of consciousness in the alchemy of time and illusion.”
Some would say this is also a physical process of transmuting the spinal fluid beginning in the sacrum and transmuting by having it rise through the 33 vertebrae in the spine, eventually into the pituitary and pineal gland. An Alchemical interpretation of the importance of the number 33, possibly why we see 33 degrees in certain Masonic Lodges, Jesus living to 33 and performing 33 miracles, Ice melts at 33 degrees, along with other uses.
There is plenty written on the subject and like always you will have to decide whether you would like to learn more.
Sex
“Sexual essence, or "ching," is a powerful, vital energy that is generated continuously within thehuman body. Sexual drive propels the course of man's evolution biologically by transmitting the genetic lineage. Emotionally it harmonizes the love between man and woman, and spiritually provides a tangible link between the "ordinary" creative powers of man and the eternal creative process of the cosmos. Refining one's awareness of sexual energy—with or without a partner—is one of the simplest ways of humans to return to pure consciousness and experience the deepest rhythms of life.”~Taoist Secrets of Love
Sex is extremely powerful and arguably the most important aspect of human nature. Sex can either liberate or enslave. There are few a different types of interpretations and practice of using sex for magic. One is the ascetic or reserved type of practice and then a libertine outlook. Both revolve around the theory that sex or sexual stimulation creates a large amount of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual energy between the participants. This energy can be used for multiple purposes depending on intention.
“Sex and magic are intertwined experiences—sex is one kind of magic (and can be made more magical without being concerned with sex-magic at any point), and magic can be, while erotic and arousing, not necessarily sexual in the way that is often understood. There is a commonly-held belief that those who practice sex-magic are indulging themselves in wild orgiastic rites at every opportunity. This is rarely the case.”- Phil Hine
“It’s time we saw sex as the truly sacred art that it is. A deep meditation, a holy communion and a dance with the force of creation.” ~ Marcus Allen
Ascetic versions use self-discipline and willpower as a driving factor. Focusing on the importance of complete control over all of your bodily and mental systems, they say that the sexual fluids hold an energetic/magnetic power that can be transmuted in the body for multiple physical, mental and spiritual benefits. Many ascetic beliefs hold that sex should only be used for procreation not pleasure, others believe sex with a partner is fine but men should spill none of their seed. Some ascetic practices include Karezza, Tao Chi, Prana Shakti, Ankhing, Kundalini,Tantra, Internal Alchemy, Coitus reservatus, and celibacy sometimes for certain times or for extended periods. Read more about these practices if this interests you.
“Sex is, directly or indirectly, the most powerful weapon in the armory of the Magician; and precisely because there is no moral guide, it is indescribably dangerous. I have given a great many hints, especially in Magick , and The Book of Thoth”- Aleister Crowley
Other more libertine versions of sex magick use the fluids and excretions that cum from sex/sexual activity. Considering these fluids literally make/bring life into this realm, it would be hypothetically logical that these fluids hold great power and if known how to use, could be manipulated. One use is to charge sigils/intention by staring at them or visualizing, while having sex/masturbating till you orgasm. The goal is to reach a trance/altered state while staring at the sigil/ visualizing the intention. The orgasm supposedly connects much of the brain and body at that time allowing the subconscious to better receive the sigil, making it become part of the collective. This energy is strengthened when it is done with multiple people in orgies if they all have the same intention. Certain magical groups (some OTO sects for example) are said to use these practices. Another theory is that other dimensional beings are created from/feed off sexual energy as well, popular in the incubus/succubus stories. They say once invoked they need the energy from human fluids to sustain themselves.
“The body can become a vehicle to that which is beyond body, and sex energy can become a spiritual force.” ~ Osho
Of course there is a middle ground to both ascetic and libertine views and you can combine them as you see fit. Whatever the method you choose, recognize the power of sex and the energy it creates. As it has been said SEX is an acronym for Sacred Energy eXchange. Some practices that hold the sacredness of this energy are Kama Sutra, Taoist methods, and Neotantra; which can be used by partners to make a stronger relationship and better sex life. For example:
“Taoists accept sexual love as natural and healthy, but know the momentary pleasure of genital orgasm with ejaculation is superficial compared to the profound ecstasy possible when love is enjoyed without the loss of the powerful male seed…Transformation of sex energy is the second principle of cultivation. During sexual arousal, the "ching" or sexual essence stored in the testicles expands rapidly and causes some energy to naturally rise to higher centers in the heart, brain, glands, and nervous system. This upward movement is cut short by ejaculation outward, so most men never become aware of the full power of their sexuality. The Taoist method perfects this upward transformation of sex energy by opening subtle channels from the genitals up the spine to the head and back down the spine to the navel. The expanding sexual energy is channeled into this "microcosmic orbit" so it flows past all the major vital organs and harmonizes the etheric energy complexes in the body, called "Tan Tiens" by theTaoists (or "chakras" by the Hindus)”~Michael Winn
“Tantra says, accept whatsoever you are. You are a great mystery of many multidimensional energies. Accept it, and move with every energy with deep sensitivity, with awareness, with love, with understanding.” ~ Osho
No matter your use of sex, whether for physical pleasure, projection of intention or spiritual development, do not feel shame or guilt. Of course do not harm others in any way (physical, mental or emotional) and remember one person’s empowerment could be another person’s exploitation or vice versa. Respect others choices as long as they are bringing no harm to others.
